What are the museum opening timings?
Galleries, exhibitions and boutique
Weekdays: Tuesday – Thursday | 10am – 6:30pm
Weekends: Friday – Sunday | 10am – 8:30pm
Museum is closed on Mondays

Daily: Tuesday – Sunday | 10am – midnight (last entry at 11pm) *

* A museum ticket or a reservation for Fouquet’s or Art Lounge is required for access until 6:30pm Tuesday – Thursday and 8:30pm Friday – Sunday.
From 6:30pm Tuesday – Thursday and 8:30pm Friday – Sunday access to the museum is complimentary and no ticket is required (galleries are closed).
Will I need to wear a mask and gloves to enter the museum?
No, as per government guidelines, wearing masks or gloves is no longer mandatory apart for visitors using the prayer or multi faith rooms, where mask are still required.
Can I visit the museum with my family?
Visitors can enjoy the museum with their family and children under 13 should be accompanied by an adult at all times.
If I am a member, can I come with more than one guest/with my family?
Members can enjoy the museum with their guests and family. Number of accompanying guests varies according to membership type entitlement.
Locker and cloakroom access?
Cloakrooms are available once your entry ticket has been scanned.
Please note bags and backpacks, other than small ladies’ handbags, are not allowed in the galleries. We recommend that bags are left in your vehicle or placed in the cloakroom during your visit.
Can I rent a multimedia guide?
Louvre Abu Dhabi does not offer a multimedia guide for rental, as our free app is designed for use on your personal device and contains all the functionality of a multimedia guide.
Before you arrive at the museum, we recommend that you download our free app to your personal device, to enjoy the complimentary multimedia guide to fully explore our artworks and navigate the museum. Don’t forget your headphones! The guide is available in English, Arabic, French, Mandarin, Russian, German and Hindi. If, as a Person of Determination, you require accessible functionality, complimentary multimedia guides are available for loan from the People of Determination desk in the ticketing hall. Please ask a member of staff for assistance.
Are there any areas to sit in the museum?
Yes, there are areas to sit within the museum
Are wheelchairs and strollers available to use?
Wheelchairs and strollers are available on request by visitors and are disinfected before and after each use.
Prayer room access?
Yes, prayer rooms are available.
Children’s Museum
Explore our exhibition ‘Emotions! The new art adventure’ with your kids with three floors of fun experiences to help them explore emotions by playing, listening, drawing or acting. It’s free for children and perfect for families especially with younger children aged 4-10. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Can I book a guided tour?
Yes, 45-minute Express tours are available. Individual tours are available at 12:00 noon every day, cost AED 50. The tour explores highlights from the museum collection. Book your ticket here. Private express tours are also available for a group of up to 25 people. Cost AED 600. These group tours are available to book daily at 10:30, 12:30, 14:30 and 16:30. Book group tours via the Louvre Abu Dhabi Call Centre, call 600 56 55 66. Audio tours are also available via the multimedia guide on our free app.
Ticket purchases
Will I need to book a ticket online or can I purchase a ticket when I arrive?
We recommend booking your ticket(s) in advance of your visit on our website. Ticket(s) can also be purchased upon arrival at the museum until 5:30pm.
Can I pay with cash?
Yes, payment in cash is accepted at all museum outlets, including food and beverage sites and the boutique.
Is a ATM machine be available in the museum?
Yes, an ATM machine is available in the ticketing hall.
Is the membership desk open?
Yes, the membership desk is open in the ticketing hall.
F&B, Shop and Kayaking and Yoga
Is Fouquet’s Abu Dhabi restaurant and Marta Bar open?
Both Fouquet’s and Marta Bar are open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday from 12pm to 12am (last order at 10pm), Friday, Saturday from 12pm - 1am (last order at 10.30pm) and are closed on Mondays.

Is the Museum Café open?
The Museum Café is open from 10am to 6:30pm Tuesday – Thursday and 10am to 10pm Friday - Sunday (closed Mondays) with à la carte dine-in menu and ‘grab and go’ options.
Is the Art Lounge open?
Art Lounge is open from 3pm to 12am, closed Mondays.
Is Aptitude Café open?
Yes, Aptitude café is open daily, including Mondays from 9am to 10pm.
The menu includes a wide selection of breakfast items, hot food, salads and, of course, specialty coffee.
Can I book a slot for kayaking?
Yes. Sessions are available every day (except Mondays) for timings and booking click here Participants must be over 6 years of age. Enjoy the museum from the stillness of the Arabic Gulf. Take a tour on a kayak and learn all about Louvre Abu Dhabi’s architecture from a unique perspective.

Parking and Valet service
Is the valet parking available?
Paid valet parking for the museum visitors is available via Gate 1. For Fouquet’s visitors, valet is available via Gate 2, please follow road signs for Fouquet’s Abu Dhabi. Please click here to view the valet parking service disclaimer.
Is there a golf cart (buggy) service to pick-up and drop-off from Fouquet’s to the parking?
Yes, a golf cart service is available.
Is the visitor parking available?
Visitor parking is available from 7am to midnight. No overnight parking is allowed.
Does the museum have electric vehicle charging stations?
Currently, the museum does not have an electric vehicle charging station in the visitor car park.
Park access and use
Can I walk around the outside of the museum?
You can walk outside along the Promenade area.
Do you have any toilets outside the museum that can be used?
Public toilets are available outside of the museum near the visitor parking.
Is there a smoking area in the museum?
Smoking is not allowed in the museum; however, there is a designated smoking area outside the museum.
Lost and Found
I lost an item / ID in the museum; how can I check if you found it?
Please contact the call centre at 600565566 and our team will be able to assist you.
How can I collect my item if the museum is closed?
The call centre can advise on how to collect your item from the museum’s security. Collection is possible only once the call centre has confirmed that we have found your item. You will be requested to bring an ID to collect your item.
